The last time we checked in with rapper/singer Chop808, we were roasting his tweets under a microscope in our original video, #TBT. The Las Vegas-based artist has reemerged with a visual from his upcoming album. Directed by Rob Seher of A Good Break, “Candy Lane” celebrates sweet love with a female cast of dancers–singers, film students, artists and anesthesiologists-in-the-making among them. Learn more about the women below.
Niani created the dazzling larger-than-life candy props for the music video. The talented crafter is also a singer—you can hear her vocals on Chop808’s upcoming album.
Elizabeth is a film student at University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She also juggles show and event marketing with her passion for dance, photography and filmmaking. She’s expected to receive her BA in May 2018.
Nila is an aspiring artist and model.
Ariel hopes to become a successful entrepreneur and will soon be launching a designer mask line on Etsy. When she’s not listening to Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy,” her “favorite song in the whole world,” she’s soaking up knowledge from TED talks.
Michelle is studying to become an anesthesiologist. Outside the classroom, she spends her time drawing, singing and traveling and hopes her talents will one day take her across the globe.
Jenni is the friend who can add fresh music to your playlist—one of her favorite hobbies is discovering new artists. You can also find her shopping online and traveling.
