When the kind folks at Vegas Seven asked me to shadow a dancer in Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike Live Las Vegas male revue for a few days, I happily accepted the assignment 🙏
Since Tatum announced Magic Mike Live last year, he’s said how much he wants his show to *empower* women–and I’m always on board with that. Also, how could I say no?!
What stuck out to me after my time at the gym and rehearsals wasn’t just the abs or the pecs or the Channing Tatum, but the trials this incredibly talented dancer, Ryan Carlson, has overcome for his young daughter, and what landing this role means for their family.
